DO’s & DON’Ts in your personal, business and social life
This Christmas week, examine your own motives for everything you do. This way, you can find out if you may have gone on auto-pilot and have forgotten the real reason for what you are pursuing for yourself. Rekindle your inspiration to follow your own path. It may be a steep climb, but the straightest one will get you where you want to be.
How this energy affects you in your personal life:
The holidays could become a challenge if you do not focus well on what you are interested in. Remind yourself of what matters and let the little things slip away. Examine the perspective it will take to keep things in a light and easy mode without pressure. Anything extra, be it a celebration or something else, could become overwhelming and take away the relaxed calm you hold inside very quickly. Take a short respite to revisit the key things you want to put your energy into and continue with much earned effort to enjoy yourself to the fullest.
DON’T tend to procrastinate.
DO see everything in life as an interesting opportunity.
DON’T have a lot of pride and hide your emotional side with a fake persona.
DO vividly remember all of the details that stand out to you.
DON’T get impatient with less-organized minds.
DO take total responsibility for your own life and be in full control.
DON’T indulge in food, etc., as a way of avoiding your emotions.
DO stay detached by recognizing other people’s problems are not your own.
How this energy affects you in your business life:
Examine your business motives once again. Are you genuinely interested in being of service and sharing in a balanced way so that everything you do is 50% good for you and 50% good for your customers? This true sincerity and ratio is the only way to get to the golden middle ground where everything goes with a steady and solid flow for all of you on both ends of the deal. This spirit of fairness will show up and revisit your prolific results every single time.
DON’T get bored easily and not follow through or finish the projects you started.
DO ground yourself by eating or snacking regularly to keep your energy high.
DON’T be too competitive and need to win to be the best at all costs.
DO bring it out in the open and communicate when you see something can be improved.
DON’T be a control freak.
DO have a keen sense of integrity and set fair boundaries.
DON’T want and demand to be the center of attention.
DO realize you are the most important person to yourself and be loyal to yourself first.
How this energy affects you in your social life:
While celebrating the festivities, examine your immediate circle of friends. Find out how your environment fits with you as you grow personally and set new and higher standards for everyone to follow – so they can face the same opportunities you have enjoyed for yourself. This will allow you to discover who can keep up with you and others not so much. Do not let the latter hold you back from where you are headed for yourself in the next coming year.
DON’T have more projects going on in your life than you can handle right now.
DO realize life is meant to be fun and do not take things too seriously.
DON’T dwell on past experiences and not release them.
DO desire to improve things and easily see how to do them better.
DON’T become overprotective of projects and people.
DO build a solid foundation for yourself so you can have stability and consistency.
DON’T get bogged down in unimportant details.
DO be very compassionate, but do not cater to others.
