Today you will explore the impact of each action you take. You will get down to when your action is actually a reaction and how you can avoid it.
Pitfalls:
An action is any activity representing a positive movement. It unfolds and projects outward when it generates from good creative energy within. When you are in action, you always grow spiritually. A reaction, although still a motion, is an act that causes you to recoil backward. It exerts a reverse force opposite to your natural flow. It is usually the result of triggering an emotional attitude. In other words, you have been ticked off. In this state-of-consciousness, your action will be reactive. You may be charged with anger or resentment toward the cause of your reaction. Whatever the reason, it separates you from your own centered balance. It is as if your own energy has been hacked and now you are allowing this same cause to use you for its own convenience. Anything you do while it is ruling over you will not produce any beneficial results. The only remedy is to snap out of it. The sooner you clarify this, the sooner you can compose yourself and get back on your feet. Do not let anything use you. Put your action to good use.
Solutions:
Here is the not so obvious truth. An action can also be passive conduct. You could be operating actively through your thoughts or energy without even showing it. As long as you are engaged in a clear and positive activity on the inside, your action could be preparing you to open up and produce great results. You could be collecting your thoughts or clarifying your plans even though it may look as if you are at a stand-still from the outside. What if you are passively-negative – boiling on the inside but acting cool on the surface? You have turned into a time bomb – waiting to burst. This is a negative reaction and will not go unnoticed. Everyone around you will feel this energy. Distinguish the slightest difference in what motivates you. Let the more creative and beneficial inspirations move you into real action. Obvious or not, they will always play out for your best interest.
